Fire Screen

Description

This was a commission piece.  My customer wanted a screen to put on the staircase to prevent her dogs going up to her bedroom when she wasn’t at home.  So I found this lovely oak old firescreen that originally had a decorative leather piece on the front .  Sanded it all back and added a damsel fly design to the front and top of the screen.  My husband added some metal feet to give it some weight and stability  so the dogs couldn’t knock it over.  My customer is delighted with the screen and it works perfectly
