Wooden Suitcase

Description

I had a customer contact me who was after a large box. In my “stash” I had this box/suitcase, which apparently was used for or with a gramophone. I love the lid with its curves and green velvet lining. My customer wanted a design to reflect NZ and Wales, so we decided on roses and a fern. I have reversed the rose pattern on the bottom to highlight the wonderful curves of the lid. My customer is thrilled with her box and I am really pleased the box has a design that reflects the beauty of it, definitely a one of a kind piece.
