Vintage Floral Footstool

I love this piece and wasn’t sure whether to call it a footstool or an ottoman, as its quite large for a footstool.  I think its oak and when I found it, it had been painted a light grey.  I sanded most of it off, but left a bit of the colour as that is part of its history.  It opens to provide a bit of storage, maybe remotes or magazines, anything really.  It has very funky little legs and there are some old borer holes underneath, plus a split through the lid but its so well made that it is still really sturdy.  I have hand burnt a funky floral design on the top and then enlarged the same design for the sides, front and back.  A wonderful vintage piece that has a new lease of life and will make a statement in any room.  Approximately 46cm x 35cm and stands 32cm high.  Price includes post and packaging – this piece is very heavy.
