Round Handled Board

I have no idea what this would have been used for??  It originally had a painted surface and someone has placed it on an element on the stove (see photo of the back).  I fell in love with the little handle, it has been beautifully made.  I have burnt a floral design surrounding a little rabbit.  Nice decorative piece or on a table for hot things.  Approximately 17cm in diameter and the handle measures 11.5cm long.  Price includes post and packaging.
