Modern Leaf Shaped Bowl

This is a very unusual leaf shaped wooden bowl. The base of the bowl is painted black and the bowl itself is this wonderful, curved shape that looks like a leaf. This is a modern piece, which is a bit different for me. The wood was not easy to burn, so ended up using permanent ink for the Piwakawaka, so I could get the detail I wanted. But I think it works well with the black of the base. This piece is quite large so will certainly make a statement in a room. Approximately 57cm x 35cm and 13.5cm high.
