Kauri Piwakawaka Board

This a beautiful board, created from two pieces of Kauri. I believe it may have been an insert for a sink on a bench, to create more bench space. Due to having the “step” added on the back, means this board is heavy and raised slightly up. My design was inspired by the grain of the wood, which I thought looked like water and the join the horizon. I have finished it off with walnut oil, so it’s safe to use with food. I really love the way this piece turned out. Approximately 37cm x 32cm and 4cm thick. Price includes post and packaging.
