Large Military Box

This is a vintage box that used to house a torpedo camera.  There is still a label on the inside of the lid, so I looked it up and found they were made for the USA Navy between 1943 and 1944.  So a lovely piece of history.  I love the really stripey wood.  Not sure what the Navy would think of my floral and bee design!!!  I have hand burnt a large flower and bee on the front and top of the box, then 2 flowers on either end of the box and the back has another bee.  This box is quite heavy and really sturdy and the interior is how I found it.  Approximately 36cm x 20.5cm and 28cm high.  Price includes post and packaging.
